Totoket TV Creates YouTube Channel for Productions and North Branford Town Council Meetings
In addition to recording and airing the North Branford Town Council Meetings, Totoket TV will be uploading the meetings onto YouTube so that the general public can view past meetings that have already been on the air.
We will begin working our way back to the January 2011 Town Council Meeting and working forward as well as uploading the newest Town Council Meetings.

Totoket TV's Newest Studio Production
Let's Be Frank is newest studio production at Totoket TV Channel 18 studios. The first episode is on air now, please check out our Program Schedule for air times.
Let's Be Frank is hosted by Frank Mentone, who is the publisher of the Totoket Times. Frank will have guests from the community such as Mayor Anthony Candelora, Town Manager Richard Branigan and Superintendent of Schools Scott Schoonmaker
Totoket TV has upgraded it's studio camera set-up by purchasing three Panasonic AG-HMC80 HD cameras. With three cameras, Totoket TV's studio shows will benefit from having new close-ups and able to have better quality productions.Totoket TV has had some major upgrades since 2010, including the new full HD Broadcast PIX Slate 1000 switcher. This was purchased in late 2010 and has been fully integrated into the studio at Channel 18 for the residents of North Branford to use. Instead of having monitors for each camera feed, preview and program, the Broadcast PIX displays all of these on the 55' Insignia HD TV mounted on the wall of the control room. One of the major bonus's to the Broadcast PIX is the playback of videos. Instead of pushing play on a DVD player or VHS deck, we can import the video into the system and simply switch to the video and it begins playing the video and audio! Welcome to the future of television production, here in North Branford!

Totoket TV has updated the way we record the Town Council meetings here in North Branford. In mid 2010 we installed a TriCasterPro, a similar system to the Broadcast PIX switcher, in the Town Council Chambers. Instead of having camera operators and wires taking up room in the Chambers, we have microphones hidden behind the desks and four remotely controlled cameras mounted on the walls. All of the cameras and audio are controlled by an operator in the adjacent room with a remote control unit and a Mackie mixer.
